A Sacred Space for Connection, Healing

& Growth

The Bearsden & Milngavie Women’s Circle was created to be a safe, welcoming and deeply nourishing space for women to gather, share and reconnect with themselves.

This is a space to step away from the noise of everyday life and come back to what matters. To breathe. To reflect. To be held in the company of other women without pressure, expectation or performance.

Whether you come feeling full, fragile, disconnected or simply in need of a night that is yours, you are welcome here.

How It Began

At the end of 2024, I found myself reflecting on the year and feeling frustrated that I had once again held myself back.

For a while, I had been thinking about creating a small women’s circle. Something simple. Just a handful of women meeting regularly in my home.

I kept putting it off.

Eventually, I decided to post in a local Facebook community group to see if anyone might be interested. I expected maybe three or four women to respond.

Instead, hundreds of women reached out.

That moment made it very clear that this wasn’t just something I had been thinking about. It was something many women were quietly looking for.

From there, the Bearsden & Milngavie Women’s Circle began to take shape.

A Facebook group was created, and what started as a small idea has now grown into a community of over 500 women.

The circle has evolved since then, but the intention has stayed the same.

To create a space where women can come together in a way that feels real, supportive and meaningful.

Rituals of the Circle

Guided Meditation: We begin with a grounding meditation to help you arrive, soften and settle into the space. The circle also closes with a deeper Reiki-infused activation meditation to help you integrate the evening.

Journaling & Reflection: You’ll be offered thoughtful prompts to explore your inner world, bring clarity to what you’re holding and gently uncover what wants your attention.

Sharing Circle: There is always space for honest reflection and being witnessed, but never pressure to speak. You are welcome to share, to sit quietly, or simply to listen.

Ritual Practice: Each circle includes a ritual aligned with the monthly theme. This may support release, intention setting, remembrance, self-trust or a deeper connection to yourself.

Community & Connection: One of the most beautiful parts of circle is the feeling of being with other women in a way that is real, warm and meaningful.

Tarot Cards, Herbal Tea & Treats: Pull a card and have some tea, sweet treats and time to exhale together.

Who This Is For

This circle may be for you if you have been craving something deeper than surface conversation.

If you feel stretched by life, disconnected from yourself, lonely in ways other people don’t always see, or simply in need of a space where you can breathe and be real, this may be the place you’ve been looking for.

You do not need to have attended a women’s circle before. You do not need to be “spiritual enough.” You do not need to know exactly what to say.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

The Things That Hold Us

A gratitude circle for the life you are living now

Life can move so quickly.

There is always something to do, someone to care for, a message to answer, a worry to carry, a list that never seems to end.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, it can be easy to miss the small things that are quietly holding us together.

The people who make us laugh.

The places that feel like home.

The little moments of comfort.

The memories that still warm our hearts.

The strength we have shown without even realising it.

July’s Women’s Circle is an invitation to pause.

To take a breath.

To notice the goodness that is already here.

This is not about pretending life is perfect or forcing yourself to feel positive when things are difficult.

It is about making space to recognise what has carried you through this season of life.

Together, we will reflect on the people, memories, comforts and moments that matter most.

You will create a personal gratitude time capsule filled with reminders of this chapter of your life, ready to open on a day when you need to remember how much goodness, love and strength has always been around you.

You are invited to bring one to three small items that represent something you are grateful for right now.

This could be a photograph, a ticket stub, a handwritten note, a small object from a meaningful place, a child’s drawing, a quote, a recipe, or anything else that reminds you of a person, memory or moment you want to hold close.

Come as you are.

Leave with a little piece of this season of your life held safely in your hands.

Rituals Of Circle

Grounding Meditation: A gentle guided meditation to help you arrive fully in the room, soften out of the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the present moment.

Reflective Journalling: The Things That Hold Us. A chance to reflect on the people, places, memories, comforts and everyday moments that have carried you through this season of life. You will be guided through thoughtful prompts to help you notice the things that often go unseen.

Tea, Treats and Cards: Time to enjoy a cup of herbal tea, something sweet, and a quiet moment with tarot or oracle cards if you feel drawn to them.

The Gratitude Time Capsule Ritual: Create and decorate your own personal time capsule, filled with meaningful reminders of this chapter of your life. You will add the items you have brought along, alongside your own reflections, a note to your future self and one gentle hope to carry forward.

Thank You, Body Ritual: A quiet and heartfelt letter to your body. A chance to acknowledge all the ways it has carried you, supported you and kept going, even through the days you have found difficult.

Reiki-Infused Activation Meditation: A deeply restorative closing meditation, supported by Reiki, to help you receive the goodness that is already present in your life and carry that sense of gratitude with you beyond the circle.

Connection and Community: A supportive evening with like-minded women who understand the value of slowing down, reflecting and making space for what truly matters.

Step into a space where you do not need to have everything figured out.

A space to pause long enough to notice what is still good, still meaningful and still holding you.

Come and create a little reminder for the days you need it most.
